Hi Mark & all
I got a shiver down my spine when I saw the Youtube video overviewing what ConstructZero is all about. I've had this dream for years to see micro-technology being developed & used to help pull people out of the mire..instead of it being used as a tradable commodity (ie intellectual 'property', which is a concept that sucks so badly).
Anyway, I'm interested to know Mark, over what sort of typical timescale are you thinking the DC3D's should be developed..or is that a string question?
The reason for asking is this: I get a lot of ideas for inventions..have done for many years, but some of the ideas are a bit far out in terms of getting to the production stage, because they usually involve using technologies which are only now just beginning to be developed.
The ideas -> R&D -> product testing/development -> scalability flow is obviously key, and I know this must be something that the team that you are/will put together understand way better than myself, who is merely an ideas person.
But I've joined this forum because I want to give you some ideas...without the worry that someone will come along and snag them for less altruistic purposes.
I registered a domain just a month ago called The Inventor's Forum (http://www.theinventorsforum.com ) in order to find a safe place to discuss some of these ideas, but not being in a position to take that forward, I think it'd be safer to plug in to what you're aiming to achieve here instead.
So, in summary, then, it'd be good to know how I can funnel any ideas (some of which I admit are pretty on the edge) I have here, as I 100% go along with what you want to do.
Best regards,
Dez.
