Model home and Builders Cooperative
I believe that we are all connected in this world. We affect each other whether we are aware of it or not. It makes me feel good when my work benefits others even in small ways. I like to share the things that I enjoy. I have been blessed to enjoy the comfort and safety of a decent house for many years and it has become my dream to share this joy with others.
When I finish building my dream house in the Philippines (see post: follow your heart), I intend to develop a decent, strong, affordable and sustainable house.
The best way for me to do this is to continue building, learn from mistakes, solve problems whenever encountered, develop and modify the technique used in the earth bag house, by using other building techniques and experiment with alternative or recycled materials until I come up with a viable model of the best sustainable house for the lowest cost.
To help me with my constructions, I plan to set up a builders’ coop. The initial members will be the same group of builders who worked on my first alternative building in Coron town in Palawan.

The builders’ coop can raise money for the cooperative by doing work on big projects like: building houses, barns, food storage, small boats or smaller projects like: smoke house, composting toilets, wells, small windmills or solar panels (or work on whatever project might be available (DC3Ds) to use for the sustainable houses or sell to other communities). I believe that the builders’ coop can benefit from the placement of DC3Ds when they become available to communities.

I appreciate all the contributions in this forum. I learn new things which I can apply to my projects. Take this opportunity that Mark started to help create change. Let us help each other because in the end, we all benefit from a better world.
